Art will remain a part of the compulsory curriculum until Grade 10 after which the student is presented with a choice: students may choose to continue their art studies through to the senior secondary level. Whatever the medium, student creativity will always be in the spotlight.
Dance gives a chance to each student to learn about dance and rhythm. For Dance we have well trained teachers to help our children remain physically fit and express themselves outside the conventional ways of expression. Children as young as 2 years old can enjoy the benefits of dance education.
The Westwood School will prepare students interested in music for Trinity Exams, which brings with it professional facilities and expertise for students. Students are able to explore all aspects of stagecraft, on stage and off. Children should learn different melody, poems, and songs through actions and learn to explore folk instruments and gradually learn to play instruments like sitar, tabla or key boards.
